I ...I loved reading you blog about getting Verona. I have raised 6 puppies for Guiding Eyes and my last one is in training now. None of my other pups have made it as guides although one is a brood and two of them have come back home to be our family companion. I hope my current pup makes it as we worked so hard at getting him used to going places and behaving- he is a great pup- his name is Yacht. I would love to hear some other anecdotal stories about life with Verona... Does that mean training a seasoned guide dog to help a new human partner, or does it mean a guide dog still needs to get the hang of his/her job, or what?
